Should I plug 2nd vent hole?
Unfortunately I didn't think to check the OEM battery before I got rid of it. Does anyone know if I should use that plug to plug the 2nd hole (on the right side)? Or should I just leave it unplugged. Will it hurt it if I do/don't?
Unless your vehicle has two vent tubes for you to plug into both vent holes of the battery, the 2nd vent hole should be plugged with the supplied plug.
Leaving the 2nd vent hole unplugged, hazardous gas (or even worse, corrosive acidic liquid) could come out and even accumulate. Obviously this is dangerous and not desirable.
