GLC Coupe 2019 FreshUp3 update
I recently purchased a GLC Coupe 2019 and I noticed that the car has got FUP2 installed instead of FUP3. I would like to get it updated to the newest one so that I can install the dashcam app.
1 - Is there a way to manually update it from FUP2 to FUP3?
2 - If the dealership will have to update it to FUP3, how long will it take and how much would it cost?

Should be free under warranty, but they probably won't do it unless there's a problem. Takes a few hours as well.

2020 GLC300 & 2009 SL550 (previously had 1999 CLK / 2006 E500 / 2011 GL450)
FUP2 had a few bugs that were fixed by FUP3 (now known as 081). In another post, I summarized a TSB on some navigation issues that are related to the older software, and another poster added that the album artwork over Bluetooth was also fixed in this version. Pick whichever one you'd like to lead with, and get it updated under warranty. There are another couple of things I saw in TSBs, but don't remember what they were.
The fact that Mercedes advertises all the updates are OTA (ala Tesla), yet only delivered a couple of recall updates and a couple of map updates (which supposedly some haven't received since you apparently need to do a manual USB update first, to get subsequent OTA updates) IS VERY IRRITATING. So if there is a new version, find out what it does and get it updated by the dealer as long as the car is under warranty, cause they don't do it unless you ask them to do it for a good reason.
