Reduce Oil Level

2020 GLC 300 4Matic only 6100 miles. Reduce Oil Level Warning came up after oil change at dealership. Dealer said to much oil, fixed. On way home 10 miles the warning light came back on again, turned around back to dealership and they have had the car 1 week. I could use your help please.

The oil level system on vehicles equipped with 260/264 engines are incredibly **** about fill level. When these engines came out, the MB training indicated that fill levels were not to deviate +/- 0.2L if I recall correctly. They almost always will display a warning light if they do...

I would chalk it up to the lube technicians at your local dealership as I have not personally heard of any cases of the oil level sensors failing/having issues.... yet.

Hope that helps

But it is not unheard of- at least on other euro makers (LR and Volvo- both used the same sensor).
