I'm looking for any info on speaker system upgrades for a 2016 GLC 300. My GLC came with the standard (low end unfortunately) audio system and lacks dynamic range in all aspects. Looking for aftermarket options for door speakers as well as all other speaker locations. Not sure if the other "unused" speaker locations in the car are "wired" but the grills do exist and I assume there is a place for drivers. There is very little information out there about what is in this vehicle and most speaker manufacturers haven't identified compatible drivers for this vehicle. Additionally looking to install a powered subwoofer but would like an option to locate under the movable floor panel in the rear of the vehicle. Any input on your experiences would be appreciated.. Thank you!

 

I installed the Cerwin Vega spare tire sub in my GLE, Sub install. It's not going to win any sub contests by it helps a bit. Can't help you with any other speaker concerns though

 

I went with 5 channel match dsp 5.4 amp, changed door speakers with match component and coaxials, and installed two emphaser 8 inch sub. Sound is very good and loud.
but cost me about $2000, just parts and I did myself so no labor included
