DIC Oil level changes

2020 GLC300 touring version (but I miss my '93 300SE W140 tank)
DIC Oil level changes

My 2020 GLC 300 with the M254 4-cyl engine doesn't have an engine oil dipstick. Since I believe correct engine oil level is very important, I check my DIC readout daily.
Two days ago, after an hour of driving like an old man, I took this picture:



Today, after doing the exact same drive, I took this picture:



I promise I added nothing to the sump between the two photos.
Can anyone explain how I could have more oil after one elapsed day?

Depends on if your vehicle is on flat surface or parked on a hill, the level will vary accordingly.

Did you perform the last oil change yourself? If so, how much oil did you put in?

Left swipe button on steering wheel, swipe left to last heading (Mercedes logo), swipe down past Coolant Level to Engine Oil Level.
