Ok ... while driving my 2019 GLC base 300 suv I get this loud audible beep for no apparent reason it's not my turn signal lane warning , noting comes up on my control panel or dash when it happens...

I'm just driving along radio on and then one BEEP !!! no pattern, every once in awhile it does this...


any thoughts?

I've had similar, single beeps in my GLE 450. No idea what it was or why it occurred. My potential fix was to use the key fob and double click the door lock button, while outside of the vehicle. That seems to have resolved the matter. At least until it occurs again!

Probably a false alert from the driver assist electronics...some times it thinks it sees an obstacle in the road and gives a beep beep to alert the driver!

Another possibility is that a POI has been inadvertently set on your nav system. The system beeps when you are approaching the POI even if the nav is not active. This happened to my wife's GLK when she accidently input our house as a POI. For weeks she heard a beep whenever she drove within 200-300 yds of our house from any direction..

Mine only beeped before starting the vehicle and it wasn't the nanny warning for not forgetting the key.
