Anyone have a hardwired viofo dashcam in their glc?

2020 glc63s coupe. 2021 mach e awd. 2016 camaro 2ss.
Anyone have a hardwired viofo dashcam in their glc?
blackboxmycar is saying they won't install it due to thick cables and therefore the panels not being perfectly aligned when they put them back on. they said for all euros so i'm wondering if mercedes is ok?

The cables arent that thick but i understand what they mean. German cars have very tight fit and finish on interiors. My stereo shop routinely refuses hardwiring in radar detectors because removing german car interior pieces is a nightmare. I just installed a thinkware in my GMC and it was very easy and was able to tuck wire in with a plastic tool easily. On the GLC it will tuck up in the headliner, but I am certain the pillar covers will have to come off to tuck wire in. German cars are definetly much harder, but it can be done if your careful and patient. I intend to put my old Viofo in the wifes GLC, but have procrastinated because i need to order a new hardwire kit.

Fuses are on the driver side so no needs to drag cable to the lighter. So if they didn't change the fuses location it takes about an hour to install.
If you search previous generation forum you will find a lot of posts including mine with some pics how I route the cable.

Average difficulty but took me awhile of research to build my confidence before installation.
And finally done without much issue.
