What do you tow with your GLC?
I've got a 2021 GLC 300. I've also got the Curt Class 3 aftermarket 2" hitch and will be getting wiring to tow a small trailer.
With the OEM hitch, the GLC is rated for 3500lbs towing, Would that be the same with an aftermarket hitch?
Let me know what you're towing and how the GLC handles it.

In some instances, aftermarket hitches may not have the same rating as a hitch installed at the factory. Some manufacturers will upgrade the cooling system and/or other options when the vehicle is built. To be safe, you could always tow less than what the aftermarket hitch is rated for.

You should always use the lowest rating of the vehicle rating and the hitch rating. The GLC300 is rated for 3500. Putting on a class 3 hitch does not allow you to tow more safely, conversely using a class 1 hitch would lower your tow limit to 2000 lb.
