Tire pressure monitoring

In all my previous MBs, I could see the real-time tire pressure of all four wheels with the push of a few steering wheel buttons. How do you see this info in my 2022 with the new MBUX system?

Thanks

I believe you must have the optional Tire Pressure Monitoring System installed. The standard system is the Tire Pressure Loss Warning System which displays a tire cross-section on the speedometer when a tire is below critical levels. You can get current tire pressure level for each tire using the Mercedes Me Connect app.

OK, I was wrong in the earlier post. If you press the square control button on the left side of there steering wheel, you bring up a menu of display items, Scrolling to the one farthest to the left is Service. Select that and scroll down to tires. After driving a few minutes you will get the pressures displayed.

TPMS rotation?

Is the M-B tpms system sophisticated enough to know when a wheel has been moved from a different corner?

I believe with the regular Mercedes-Benz models you can only see it by going to Service and then Tires in the instrument cluster, but yes it displays the individual tire pressures. This is also where you restart the system after changing wheels, tires or pressures so that it sets the new reference pressures and learns at which corner each sensor is located. Especially important after changing/rotating wheels. In my C63S I can also bring up the following display on the right, which shows all the relevant temperatures and tire pressures. I typically have this up most of the time and it revealed a nail in my left rear tire the other day. Pulling out of my neighborhood once it displayed the pressure after about two blocks I noticed that the rear left is 3 psi lower than it should be. Turned around and found the nail. It was broken off and impossible to notice by just casually inspecting the tire. Had to move the car back and forward a few times until I finally spotted it.

Yes, as said above, after rotating the tires you have to go into Service then Tires and restart TPMS. It will then learn the new positions and reference pressures.
