I recently purchased the my 2022 GLC and experienced wiper chatter the first day it rained. Brought the car back to the service department. I was told that whatever they spray on the glass to protect it for shipping wasn't properly removed and was causing the wipers to drag. So I wait around for and 1.5 hrs and they return the car washed and with new wiper blades. Waiting for the next rain storm to see if things are good to go,
Update: The issue persists. I am interested to see how long it takes the service department to work this out. They changed the blades and did nothing else it would seem. The make believe glass cleaning never took place as I can see the suction cup marks on the glass when it rains. Interesting how more intently you look at the windshield when something isn't as it should be.
