My wife has a new GLC Coupe with the AMG package(20” staggered wheels and big brakes) and I’m looking for a set of wheels for winter tires. When she bought the Coupe, I told her that she is going to need winter specific wheels/tires just like we’ve had on all her other cars. She thought that since the “all-season” tires were brand new, that she would be OK for this first winter. NOPE! She found out quickly that the wide wheels and tires are NOT GOOD in 6” of snow.
So here I am asking if there is another model of MB wheels which will fit correctly. They do not need to be staggered fitment. Looking for 18” or 19” wheels. Maybe one of the cars? Any insight is greatly appreciated.

I have GLC43 20 inch staggered. I installed Michelin Cross Climate 2 (Costco) it fit into the OEM wheels. I drove it in snow (3 inch), ice too. It handled pretty well. Road noise and ride is way better. The cross climate 2 is all weather tire with three peak snow rated and M&S at same time and 60k warranty. It’s a good tire to have all year.

that’s a beauty Dan! Did you order it special? I ordered my wife’s 2022 coupe with AMG Pkg + Night; not sure if her wheels are staggered. Car is evidently still too new to pull a data card!
I think (hope!) that all season tires will be sufficient here in the Boston area but I must admit I remember well when I would put 4 snow tires on my past RWD cars: night and day difference.
We ordered it last October and it took 6 months to arrive. It has the AMG appearance package with the 5-spoke wheels. The tires SUCK on snow!!! Our first snow 2 weeks ago here in northeast PA and they did not perform how we expected. These wheels are too nice to run all winter, so I will pull them off, wax them and put them on the rack until spring.

agreed! You definitely want winter wheels and tires, less wide and taller sidewall. Maybe an all black wheel for alternate look?
