Silver Diamond or Black Diamond grill?

I'm going to get a new grill for my white 2019 GLC 300.. I'm torn between the Silver Diamond and Black Diamond. Does anyone have an opinion as to which would look better or maybe even provide pictures of the one you went with? Thanks!

Depends on the color of the car, IMO.
I see yours is white. Do you have chrome or black trim?

my post-facelift GLC came with the diamond grille, which I didn't much like; although I loved it when it first came out in 2014 and really wanted one on my W205 at the time. I just Google-searched "silver diamond grille" and "black diamond grille" and I can't tell the difference!

The outer circle surrounding the star and the tops of the two bars on the left and right of the star, are gloss black on the Black Diamond and they are silver on the Silver Diamond.

I went with the silver diamond. My dealer installed it for $250 and the grill was $90 on EBay. I’m very happy with how it looks.

Curious, what don't you like about it, is it because of the shape of the grille on the facelift as you can see it is shorter on the top compared to the bottom?

I'm not sure what you mean by "shorter", but my feelings on the diamond grille are simpler than that. When I bought my wife a 2015 C300 in 2014, I just fell in love with that new body style and how much it resembled the S-Class that had just come out. My wife's not fussy and not a car person so I didn't even look at options, just chose one at the port with open pore black ash trim and Premium Package. Not long after we took delivery I started seeing C400s and CLAs with the diamond grille and loved it, but again, wife's car. Then I started seeing GT-Panamericana grilles and forgot all about the diamonds, which seemed more luxury than sport to me. When it came time to replace the C with the GLC I had to have the Panamericana grille, and ended up adding it aftermarket. I think it makes the facelifted x253 look ferocious!

Now, I will say that on the pre-FL x253, the Panamericana grille can look a little forced, and maybe that's what you were asking about in terms "shorter on the top". I think of that grille as V-shaped, while the FL grille is A-shaped; kind of the difference between a smile and a scowl. IIRC, the AMGs that came stock with the Panamericana all had A-shaped grille openings, not A-shaped.

Sorry for the confusion but seems like you knew what I was asking, that answered my curiosity thanks.

Black Diamond Grille

I have the black diamond grille on my black GLC and I love it. Makes the car look a lot more sportier and looks amazing. Highly recommend it. Please see the attached photos

I went with Black versus the Silver grille. The chrome diamonds appear to pop more...and it matches my other cars. =)
