Dash position

The left hand side of the dash is sitting lower as pictured, but Mercedes bodyshop now tells me that this is normal for this facelift model. Is yours also sitting lower on one side? FYI mine is SUV, RHD.

Now HOW would you even notice that to the point that it bothers you I wonder? Good eye for sure.

Wish I didn’t notice these small things. Actually, I hadn’t noticed it till I saw insulation materials under the windshield that was visible from the driver seat. Then I started looking at the area closely and noticed the gap.

I did some online search and looks like this design flaw is fairly common. If anything, it’s more difficult to find GLC with both sides perfectly matched.

Now you got me curious and I will have to look at mine. I do however have a 2018 model, not sure what year yours is,

I’ve looked at the pre-facelift model as well, and a lot of them have this gap. I noticed more on RHD vehicles though. If you want to be bothered, you can also check the sunroof shade over the rear seat (only SUV) mine left a slight gap when closed, and I had to have it fixed.

I better not look, or I will most likely not be happy.
