Sale on latest Android 12 12.3 screen wireless carplay
Anyone want to mod this with me? I was waiting for a sale for this and just got it. Will post updates once I have it installed. Main worry is that I have Burmeister on my 2018 so hoping I can get it to work and still use original sound.

Yes, I did. Works great but there are some small issues.
1. it took a while to adjust the screen to show correctly, had to talk with the seller to go into advanced setting to remove all the "static" image. works great now.
2. the usb cable is too short if you wan to bring in the center console, need to buy an extension usb cable for like $10.
3. the fit is not exact so the screen will not be as secure and it rattles a bit on bumps. might need to add a bit of cardboard to enforce it.
4. the sound is not that great, especially if you have Burmeister speakers so I ended up using the original audio but it's a bit limiting. Basically, every time you start your car, you have to click twice on the mute button to bring up the audio and siri doesn't work.
Overall, I wouldn't do it again because of these limitations but I sure do enjoy CarPlay on the big screen. If the audio was good, I would have 100% recommended it.

Thanks for the update. I ordered something similar (they all look like the same think rebranded by various chinese retailers) and then decided not to install it because i didn't trust it would integrate seamlessly with the rest of the car's systems.
The instructions talked about plugging a USB cord into the media input in the center console, which indicated they hadn't fully sorted out the integration between the stock systems & their system. Based on your feedback, that sounds right.
