2019 glc 300
Tune question
Hi I'm looking at a 2019 glc 300 with low miles to replace my wife's acura rdx with the v6. She absolutely loves everything about the glc except for the turbo lag(I know it's not that much lag but she's never driven a turbo car before). She's used to the v6 in the acura that has instant power. I'm wondering if there is a tune available that would negate or eliminate the lag. I already have a SCT hand held tuner I used on my ecoboost motor so if a company has a tune for that unit I wouldn't need to buy another hand held. The two tunes I have found so far are the OE tuning one as well as the AMR performance one. The AMR site specifically says it eliminates lower rpm hesitation.

There might be a tune, or add on that goes inline without flashing anything. You could also try putting the dynamic select into sport and I think that would help but you would have to select that every time you get into the vehicle.

I'll second the recommendation to use sport mode. In comfort mode the vehicle tries to save gas by starting from 2nd gear. Sport moves it to 1st gear from a stop. There's also sport plus mode that's even more aggressive with shift points. The GLC hauls *** if you know how to prod it, an I'd bet it's quicker than the acura once it's over 5 mph.
