Hi - I'm new to these forums! I have a 2020 GLC 300 and the check engine light has come on 3 times during the past month and a half. I would be driving and then stopped at a light. When I then try to accelerate, the car would shake, the light would blink, and then the light would stay on. I would then go into limp/safety mode.
The first time, the dealership said it was an engine misfire and then reset, the 2nd time they replaced a coil. The car is there now for round 3.
Does anyone have any experience with this happening to their car? Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you!

You need to know the CEL codes to get any advice; it/they may be on your slip from the dealer. I'm currently trying to figure out the CEL drama my daughter just went through on her 88,000+ miles 2017 x253 in Denver, all of which was covered by a CPO warranty we didn't even know she had(!) In her case it was an oil separator, and they ended up replacing the crankcase ventilation valve and intake line and repairing the front differential seal; took them nearly a week and they gave her a 2023 EQS450 for a loaner!
