Question Tail lamp design differences

I understand this is tail lamp design for 2020+ models...

What I don't understand are these two...
I'm not sure if they are differentiated by model year...
Are they different by options?

The top design is the 2020 facelift when MB makes LED a standard feature for all GLC model.

The middle design is the optional LED feature when the GLC first came out back in 2016 for the base GLC model without the sport appearance package.

The bottom design is the optional LED feature for the AMG line (GLC 43, 63, and the optional sport appearance package for non AMG) before the 2020 facelift. This I am not sure..

the middle one is the standard with halogen head lights. The lower one when it has either the LED or intelligent light system headlights. The first couple of years the GLC came with standard crappy halogen headlights. I waited for the intelligent light system in my 2017 GLC43 and it worth every penny.
