2019 GLC300 OEM Windshield
The OEM windshield arrived today, but it’s not like my original windshield. This new replacement windshield has wires on the left and right side with ribbons that connect somewhere in the pillars. I believe it’s antenna wires but not sure. My car does not have this. Apparently the windshield is identical and would fit, but I don’t want those wires there. Is there a different part number?
My car has two cameras and a rain sensor. No other visible wires or items on the windshield.
last 8 on vin KF565436.
trying to stay with OEM from Mercedes-Benz. Any other formation is appreciated. Thank you.

Not an "OEM manufacturer," because they often have three different grades of glass.
There's a good possibility that the glass you're looking at won't even calibrate with your cameras.
Plus, the windshield is a structural component of the car, and safety will be compromised with the wrong glass.
It could also be the wrong thickness and not fit the clips properly.
l have done some research and found out there are 4 different windshields available for my GLC, depends on the options on the car.

I should have said OE above, and differentiated from OEM. As I mentioned above, oems can have different grades of glass, but the original equipment OE is the only correct one.
If it's actually OE with the correct part number, then you're probably okay.
Also note that the signature the lower right corner of the glass is affixed by the installer, and is a separate part number. It can be put on any glass.
It took 4 windshields to get the right one. MB dealers had no idea what they were doing and were the most useless in helping me find the correct windshield for my GLC. 😎
DO NOT LET MB TALK OR TELL YOU THAT YOU NEED A 253 670 09 00 this glass has embedded antenna wires in it. The glass with fit but you will forever be looking at wires 9n the last and right side of the windshield. MB will tell you that’s the only w/s available based on your VIN. Not true.
I only saw the pn after the trim piece was removed, wish I saw it earlier… you can see the new w/s actually has a different pn than the original but it was identical. I believe it was superseded.
