Rescue card
Hi Folks,
I am new to this forum, Now a retired engineer who currently owns a GLC300(2023) previously owned an AMG
I’m curious to know who out there has experienced the following- each Mb vehicle comes with a decal that has a Rescue QR code usually inside the fuel lid and along the “B” pillar.
It’s there for emergency services to use when extricating persons from a vehicle involved in an accident, it identifies electrical wiring, fuel lines and tank location. Mb has spent considerable resources into advertising this. However some vehicles have been mis- identified as diesel when it’s meant to be Petrol. The glc300 I have is that vehicle, I have checked 2 other glc300’s and they also are incorrectly labeled.
Hoping that it’s only a small number from the factory, Mb Australia are reluctant to put out a general notice, so I’m hoping it only effects the glc300 vehicles.
