GLK350 is a solid reliable car with no major issues. The GLC while newer and more modern has the 4 cylinder engine that is awful and known to be problematic. Not worth the hassle. Before we bought our 2015 GLK350 we actually considered a GLC300. I am glad we did not.

I just bought a 2017 glc300 for 14k total with 105k miles that I could not pass up. One owner with maintenance. The car is in excellent shape in and out. The seller offered to change the spark plugs since I didn't see that on the Carfax report.
I hope mine is the good one.

I think you'll be very happy, and I seriously doubt you'll find yourself looking wistfully at the GLKs you pass on your travels! My daughter has a 2017 that I drive when I visit, and, like my wife's 2022, it has the silky-smooth 9 speed. At home I alternate between my two 2015s, the SL and ML, both with the 7 speed. I've considered the Road Top Apple CarPlay dongle for my 2015s, as it makes using apps - Waze in particular, so much better in my wife's 2022 (which has factory CarPlay). My millennial daughter seems fine just playing her podcasts and using Waze from her phone without even having it mounted. I used to DIY a lot of MODs in my Benzes and you have the patience and minimal skills required you might like the $300 Road Top unit, or even the $70 phone mount/magnetic charger I'm selling HERE (make an offer). I put simple magnetic charging mounts in my ML and SL and use Waze daily with easy glances at the phone screen.
Welcome to MB, to the forums, and to the GLC; many safe and happy miles to you!
How do I know if it's the coolant sensor vs the coolant thermostat? The code reader says po128 thermostat but there are cases when the actual part the reader suggests isn't the fix?
