What could have caused these?
It looks like something spilled next to the logo and the number area and discolored it … just bought the car and was wondering.

Washer fluid is what I originally thought but it’s weird… maybe they used something bad and just needs a good polish… thanks again for the quick response!

I mean, it was right below the windshield wiper, certainly looks like some sort of windshield washer stain but maybe baked in the sun so it stayed, another possible cause is hard water.
