Prospective '26 GLC300 Buyer
Good morning from sunny SW NH, hopefully 40-50s coming soon, a long cold winter. After several surgeries I will be trading in our '22 GLB250 with 36K miles for a new GLC300, I really need a softer ride. My wife and I visited the local Lexus Dealership, we purchased a '99 RX300 new and it lasted us 22 years with 350K miles. We wanted the same size vehicle as the GLB so we looked at their NX350, very stark design, uncomfortable seats and the doors were very light + pretty tight suspension, no spare tire space, nothing smooth about that so off to the local MB Dealer. My wife likes the size of the GLC300, we have a '14 ML350 BT that I drive in the warmer months, she calls it a bus, only 60K miles and going strong. The GLC test drive was certainly different than the Lexus, quite a bit softer drive but not sloppy, etc. One of the things that bugged the heck out of me with the GLB was the Visors didn't fully cover the front windshield nor the side windows, a complete disaster, they are fixed and don't slide like other European visors do. I forgot to look at the GLC but I sure hope that isn't the case with this vehicle. Back in the days, I'm old, you used to be able to select Headliner Colors, I was hoping for a light gray but not the case. Because of my eyesight I need light so no black interior and if you purchase the AMG package you can select the Neva Grey MB-Tex but if you want the Crystal Grey fabric headliner you can't unless you get the Black Leather upholstery, very restrictive. Hope people can share the good and bad with this W253, I hope any bugs have been worked out. Thanks.........

NO MULLIGAN, Thanks for the information, I did a quick search (perhaps too quick) on the web and it indicated the '26 GLC300 was Chassis Code W253, I'll go back in. If there's a moderator online, please move to the appropriate forum (W254), Thanks
