Hi all. Haven't been on this site since i traded in my beloved '08" C63 AMG for a Jaguar F-Type R almost 10 years ago. Anyway, I just purchased an extremely low mileage 2018 GLC 43 AMG Coupe as a DD. Love the car. I bought it with 22" Brabus wheels with LionHart tires. The set-up is really nice to look at but in these NY streets...ughhh! The tires are 265/35/22 and every pothole is felt. Looking for a bit of advice before I go purchase another set of wheels. Do you think purchasing a better or different tire could make a little difference in the ride quality? Any advice or feedback from any knowledgable guys would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advace.
I have a 2020 GLC 300 with MB 20” wheels and it’s insanely comfortable. But it’s not an AMG model so I’m not sure if the suspension might be making the ride a little softer.
Also, you might get more replies in the x253 forum.

Your vehicle is a X253 as mentioned by someone else, you will likely get more response in: https://mbworld.org/forums/glc-class-x253-203/ https://mbworld.org/forums/glc63s-gl...x253-c253-217/
To answer your question, going down a size or two and getting rid of run-flats will help with ride quality. The facelift (2020 and +) has a much softer suspension. If the car you bought doesn't have stock tires, it will help if you tell us if you have run-flats on it? Make sure the tire pressure is also correct, since you don't have stock tires, you might not be able to use the gas fuel door values but try them as well if the tire specs are not too different from stock. Make sure you check the tire pressures and inflate when they are cold.
