Front window tint?!
Anyone here tint their front windows to match the rest of the vehicle? If so, what percentage and show me a pic! Here in FL it's a must to keep the car cool and protect the interior. Thanks!

"In the sunshine state, it is illegal to tint the entire windshield. Window film cannot be applied below the manufacturer's AS-1 line. This line is usually visible, about five inches below the top of the windshield.
Above the AS-1 line, drivers can apply window tint as long as it's non-reflective. On the front side windows, the tint must allow at least 28% of light through. This is true for all types of vehicles."

Here are the options we had…Llumar Air 80 or 50 which is a ceramic tint. 80 has what appears to be virtually no tint, and was more what we wanted. I knew nothing about ceramic but apparently has a very positive effect on heat transference. We went with 50 because the tint level was just right for a windshield with the test being how this will be at night. As a migraine sufferer it’s nice to have the sun dialed down a little. Just had it done so we’ll see about night driving. Could easily tell how much less heat is coming through though. It’s perfect during daylight . If it turns out 50 is not good at night, we will simply have it pulled and go with 80.
