Best… that’s going to be very subjective. What’s your budget and how many bikes?
Kuat has several that will fit a 1 1/4 receiver. I have a Kuat but it’s a 2” since I had a 2” receiver on my previous vehicle. I’d need to add a 2” to 1 1/4 reducer but that would be pretty wobbly so I’ve done nothing yet.

Many items to consider when buying a rack, with these 3 at top of mind:
- How many bikes do you plan to carry?
- Are any of the bikes e-bikes? Keep weight limits in mind.
- Do you need access to the trunk while the bikes are still mounted? Some racks can tilt with bikes still on.
