Different Tire Sizes?
Full Discloser: I am not a car person!
I have a new 2023 GLC 300 4Matic SUV. I just noticed that it has 235/55 R19 tires on the front and 235/50 R19 tires in the rear. Is it normal to have different size tires front and rear?

Doesn't sound right. Different size tires are normal when the wheels are different widths (i.e. staggered setup), but I've never seen front and rear tires with the same width but different aspect ratios. Essentially your front tires have slightly more sidewall than the rear tires, and that shouldn't be. Check the tag inside the drivers door for the OE tire specs. I suspect it will show both front and rear tires should be size 235/55/R19.

Hi,
I bought my GLC in June this year. However, all my tires are of the same size 235/60 R18. I read on the internet that usually all tires are of the same size, however, if they are different, then they can be different for front and rear axles (that too if the manufacturer recommends), not on the same axle. I suggest you check with the dealer.
