First time flat tire with MB. Can this be fixed at any car repair shop or does it need to be fixed by MB service only? What are all consideration with MB flat tire?

It's a tire, Any tire shop can replace it.

MB dealership will want you to purchase a new tire since they feel the integrity of the tire is compromised. Take it to a local tire center and get it plugged or patched and don’t worry about it

DESAL

No flats yet with my 2023. But had a number of them with my run flats on the 2020. My independent tire guy (not a brand guy like Goodyear) fixed them. Had a choice of a plug or take tire off and patch the inside of the tire. Opted for inside patches and never had a problem. One nail was a spike size.

not just a tire… if you have run flat most likely won’t get repaired as its not made for repair
