I would occasionally notice hot air blowing from the A/C.
The reason is the A/C touch sensor is right below the Home sensor and it is too easy to swipe across it, turning off the A/C.
I wish there was a different design here.
Interesting to see that it is a different layout respect the EU market. Mine has the AC "button" in the bottom right corner, and under the home button there is the recirculation one.

The handbook incorrectly describes the controls. It says the controls are as you describe but the corresponding picture shows the opposite.
It shows the icon for recirculating and calls it the A/C, and vice versa.
I marked in yellow the error.

Or better yet let you rearrange all the icons like the favourites menu, it is just a small software update they push to add that feature, perhaps talking to MB Corporate in your own country will help.
