Successful retrofit/Code Distronic, Traffic sign assist, and lane keep assist.
My 2023 GLC didn’t have drivers assistant. Upon further research, I discovered that it’s possible to have basic distronic (stops and go’s while keeping distance).
My GLC has the illuminated star (factory) and it still works. My understanding is that the driver assistance distronic uses a different long range radar.
Materials
1. Switch Panel ( A0999059308 ).. I called up my dealership and they ordered me one and it arrived in 2 days (IM FROM USA, EU AND NA BUTTONS ARE DIFFERENT)
2. OBD 2 reader - I used this one (Non affiliate link): https://a.co/d/9bvYe2G
3. Cheap windows 11 laptop. I also had to order a USB C to Ethernet adapter
4. T30 and T25 fittings (Can use electric screw driver).
5. Hook tool
RJ automotive posted a good tutorial on their YouTube channel. They also sell the kit and code.

Simon was able to code distronic, lane keep assist, and traffic sign reading. Everything works flawlessly!
It was overall very easy to install the switches, I didn’t have to disconnect the battery. Just pay attention when putting everything back together. I am not mechanically savvy AT ALL. I’ve only ever assembled furniture lol..
