CarPlay Map between gauges and radio presets

CarPlay Map between gauges and radio presets
Hello. On GLCs not equipped with the $675 factory nav, will the Apple CarPlay map show up between the speedo and tach in the gauge cluster? I looked at a car with factory nav, and I could cycle through things between the gauges like music, trip/MPG details, and the map. I didn't try it in a car with no factory nav using only CarPlay.
Does CarPlay map show up there, or will it only be on the HVAC screen? Thank you.
Also, I couldn't find a traditional radio "pre-set" area. Is that now "Favorites"? If so, can you cycle through those radio station favorites using steering wheel controls? Thanks!

No, it won't show up in the instrument cluster. CarPlay has the ability to drive an auxiliary display. It can technically show turn-by-turn directions in the instrument cluster, but I believe MB still hasn't added support for it.

Had no problem following directions although I’m use to my GLC showing maps on my heads up & instrument screen.
