Squeaking Driver seat
Apologies if this is already covered, but I bought a new GLC300d SUV before Christmas and after couple of weeks the drivers seat squeaked like a dirty French movie and it’s really annoying
on acceleration, braking and corners / roundabouts etc
have tried adjusting seat but makes no difference, and seems to be general poor quality materials
it’s going into dealership next week, but concerned these are regular issues and may continue to annoy for prolonged period
would be interested if very common issue and if people have managed to solve?

GLC 300
had the same issue, took it to the dealer, needed to leave it there overnight ( they gave me a loaner ) but the fix was lubrication on the springs , not a big deal at all ... good luck, hope its a quick fix for you as well

in my case took back to dealer, they stripped Seat and sent pics to merc technical dept, with warranty they’ve approved replacement Seat base, but needs special tool to dismantle
part arrived today but special tool from Germany arrives Friday
they gave another GLC as loaner, but had my car a week already
thanks, hopefully they will fix soon
