GLC 350e Squeaking noise a few times when braking lightly @low speeds/ESP related?
Is it normal for a GLC 350e to make a squeaking noise 2-3 times when braking lightly at low speeds (before coming to a stop)? Also, it feels like the ABS/ESP system is activating, as the brake pedal slightly pushes back when the squeaking happens.
The MB dealer technician suspects that the noise is coming from the ESP pump. However, after testing the same model, they found that it exhibits the same behavior. Therefore, they believe it is a normal characteristic of this model. Nonetheless, the MB dealer will confirm with Mercedes-Benz Thailand again.

How long have you had the car? New brakes squeal for a while until they're driven in.

The GLC350e pedal depresses automatically since it has electric driving mode. The automatic depression happens when brake recuperation is active and increases as the recuperation increases.

The brake noise might have been there from the beginning, but I may not have been familiar with the new car. It took some time for me to notice the various sounds inside the car. Don’t forget that in electric mode, the car is extremely quiet.
It is really hard to believe that it was designed this way if MB concludes that it is the normal behavior of the GLC which I hope to hear something from them on this Monday.
