If someone has a repair manual with this information, I would be grateful if you would share.
Alternatively, a good YouTube video reference would be appreciated.
You need to get a copy of WIS. Why did the vehicle not auto brake when it detected an obstacle?

I ordered mine, and I am picking it up today. I will not pay a tariff, but I have heard that Mercedes was paying for it until the end of the year. I will find out soon. I would never buy off the lot.

2024 Mercedes GLC 300
Hey, that's us OP!

Crazy, but this thread and OP's potential new vehicle swap is EXACTLY the one my wife and I just lived through.
We had a 2014 E350 4matic we have absolutely adored owning and driving for the last 11 years, and just over two weeks ago we let her go in trade for our new to us 2024 GLC 300 in screaming Patagonia Red Metallic.
After considering and test driving nearly everything in our budget that made sense, we fell instantly in love with this particular specc'd suv. I guess we're just Mercedes people now - even though we've owned Beemers/VW's/Landrover/Audi/Jeep/Kia, and really appreciate how MB make and finish their vehicles. The emphasis they place on certain design and production choices just fits us.
Anyway, it's been a blast already personalizing this new baby suv for our needs (we live in Palm Springs CA) and we think it well could be our next 10 year ownership vehicle.
Fingers crossed, of course.

It's our first Red color vehicle and I've gotta say, we were kinda shocked we took her home......I've been visiting the garage just to look at her multiple times a day. :-)

Not sure if you already purchased but wait to see how the 2026 comes out looking. Early images show many changes especially to interior. I have a 2021 GLC300 and the changes made in 2023, to me, are just terrible. That HUGE iPad down the middle just doesn't do it for me. I like the newer trends of longer horizontal panels set toward the drive... BMW, Genesis, .... come to mind.

Me too! I like our screens that are lower in the dash and don't look like tacked on iPads sticking up and ruining the interior design flow.

It looks like a full dash is the new style that starts with the new CLA. I'm waiting for the 2026 MB GLC EV. I hope for 400 mile range and priced about $50K. I would go with the full dash if my criteria is met.

You are dreaming with the 50K price on a 400 mile EV.

LOL.Yes, I know. it's a wishful thinking. I think it could be $55K at starting. I don't think you pay too much for an EV. By the way, bring over the BYD EVs. They are selling well in Europe. I know it will not happen. Anyway, the 400 mile-range EVs are coming. Other than that, why not buy a Tesla, if you don't care about the range.

They might try to build a factory here. But then they will not be cheap anymore. On the subject of Chinese cars, you might find this interesting:

Oh wow, I did not know that. I never intend to buy Chinese cars since their quality is not real good. You get what you pay. But you should notpay a fortune for an EV. When they solve the battery issue ( cost) then, it would be good to get an EV. My next car will be an EV. I recently had a B service for my C with 60 miles on it. It costs near $2K ( at the dealership). I don't think it is worth to pay for that kind of maintenance.

Check the checklist of items needed to be addressed with B service, the main concern is oil and filter change of course then there are other items depending on year, not just miles. You could probably get it done at a independent shop or just DIY it, always pick shops that specializes in European vehicles though.

Thanks for the info. I did get the service. at 60K miles. The local dealership is close to me and convenient. I've been using their service since I got the car. It drives nice and has no issue. I also think about going to other shop but plan to do so after the car turns to 10 years old. That's why I think about the EV version of either the next C or the next GLC. I may try to look into the new CLA to see how good it will be.
