Can Denton recommend a cargo area mat for the GLC 350e?
I ordered my car yesterday. Last night I was shopping for some accessories, including a format for the cargo area. I was surprised that nobody seems to offer one that fits, even Weathertech site.. Apparently the cargo area shape is slightly different than the non-PHEV GLC.
Congrats on ordering a 350e! I've put just over 7200kms on mine and love it so far! What spec/colours did you end up going with?
Not really an answer to your question, but I haven’t been able to find any cargo liner specifically for the 350e either. Ive been using a folded blanket. I believe you can order something from Mercedes but itll most likely be overpriced.
It can take a frustratingly long time before companies come out with mats for new models. It was over a year before anyone released mats to fit my 2023 GLC (new interior compared to previous years).
In the US, no third party that I could find makes one for the GLC 350e. I did order an all weather plastic cargo mat from my dealership and it fits like a glove.

A bit bourgeois but practical. I cut it as a rectangle since it was a remnant. My electric scissors worked perfectly. You could make a template that would account for the asymmetric indents on either side. You can turn it upside down for wet stuff though there is no edge to catch runoff. Gives you an excuse to buy the electric scissors. Won't fray. Used a few across 5 MBs and 1 Durango over 13 years. Mess it up? Throw it out. In reality you don't really notice a difference in power when the battery is depleted. I predominantly drive in Electric Node so I'm only getting 134 horsepower (hp) from the electric motor. When the battery depletes in Electric Mode, the engine turns on which provides 201 hp (so more hp than in electric mode). That being said, even if the battery is depleted for electric mode, there is always a residual amount of battery charge left that can used towards mild hybrid driving. This residual battery can also be used in Sport Mode should you need the extra power momentarily. Basically, you still have access to the combined 313 hp even if the battery is "depleted". The only difference is that you will only have the 313hp momentarily if the battery is low. Again not something you're going to notice with everyday driving and one does not buy a GLC for drag racing/performance.The downfall with the GLC 350e is if you don't charge your battery, your engine is having to carry dead weight of the battery which makes it less fuel efficient than the GLC 300. So the GLC 350e only makes sense if you keep up with charging.
It's more than mild hybrid power! The total battery capacity is 31.2 kWh and the rechargeable component is only 23.4 kWh. So there's going to be at least 4 kWh (half of the total difference) to play with when the plug-in part is depleted.
