2026 GLC300 C
We just got a 2026 GLC Coupe with Pinnacle option, which comes with digital light. I see digital rain and the other startup projection options. I haven't really had chance to check out all options, but does Pinnacle Digital light enables all options from the factory? If not, what more is possible?
Here's what I have on PO. I also have DA2-Driver assistance package. It doesn't list anything specific about lights.

So you have all the projection functions apart from the frost projection, but you are missing the ILS+ function which boxes the high beam around traffic infront of you in the car. (matrix dimming) this is the main function of the digital lights.
ILS+ is disabled in all US cars and its the main thing we activate on US cars

Just a +1 on this thread to support Raj. Just this morning had him enable ILS+ on our us-spec GLC 350e that I ordered with pinnacle for this very reason. He had enabled multi beam on our old x253 glc300 a few years ago and it was great, but ILS+ is like moving from an 80s dot matrix printer to laser. It is positively wild and incredibly useful, especially if you do any rural driving.
Coding couldn't have gone smoother either. He was prompt on WhatsApp and I had everything ready to go on my end. We were done in 20 minutes total from me plugging it in to him finishing the job.
It's a shame we don't get these functions enabled due to our regulations...but as long as MB USA will let me keep ordering the hardware and Raj can keep enabling the software, I'm happy!
If anyone here is on the fence...do it!

Plenty of videos out there showing operation. If you do city driving only or where there is always illumination, it probably is not worth it. But if you do any rural driving at all and live in an area where animals love to run out in the road at night, it is worth every penny. No complaint on the cost from me.

The only thing I haven’t experienced yet is the road projections. I’m going to have the car out tonight. @rjautomotive Is there anything I can do to influence/test a projection on the road? I tried a safe drifting over lane markings and expected to see an arrow but nothing showed. A list of what’s possible would be great. Thanks.

I had this done by Raj a couple of weeks go. Due to odd an odd chain of events I’ve only had a chance to be out with it at night a couple of times, but the matrix dimming is awesome. I also had the auto start stop disabled and I’m so grateful for that every time I get in the car. To have full high beams lighting up all around on dark roads while not irritating cars in front of you and oncoming traffic is pretty incredible. You can actually see virtual rectangles carved out around the car in front of you. Everything else it so lit up that I wonder if the other cars benefit as well. Raj did a great job, easy to work with, and did not take long. As far as cost goes, I get that you pay for the expertise and background of a Mercedes Benz specialist.

Thats not for the new digital lights, thats for the multibeam on older cars, which we are cheaper than them on also. Check the fitment tab, it does not support the new GLC 254 for example...

This product also activates all missing digital light projections. IN europe depending on vehicles specification this product is still useful as we can activate all the missing projections as some vehicles come with none

That's the physical dongle needed to tap into your MB. The other end of it hooks up to your laptop. Those guys remote login into your laptop to reprogram/recode/customize MB system.

If it works, I think they will be around. They are making too much money. I have video in motion on my 2015 C300. I really like that. I asked these guys if they could do it on my GLC, and they said it was impossible. I find that hard to believe...

I didn't get my package yet - maybe in a few days. However, I just got the latest MBUX update to 3.3. They kept talking about turning on some digital light function in the update information. Do you know if the software we ordered works with 3.3?

Interesting. I just checked but I don't have any updates in queue for me. May be they are rolling it out in batches.. or may be I have it already? I will have to check. My last update was on a day after we brought it home, Oct. 3rd.
As far as what we signed up for, I am guessing it would work?? The order page says that it includes lifetime of recoding (It's an open question what if they can't anymore!!) Another open question is what if MB enabled it already before they got to recode it for us!
