My New 2018 GLC 63s Coupe Black W/ night package
Freaking love this car/suv/crossover or what ever you call it lol. I've own a few AMG's in my time, w204 c63, 2017 c63s, 2016 GLE 63s and how this 2018 GLC 63s Coupe. So far I've loving the driving experence, can even kick the *** end out with the awd which is said to be the same as the new E63's but with out drift mode. Haven't done a launch control yet since its disabled by the factory and will have to bring to the dealer at 1000 miles for rear oil change that this to be unlocked. If anyone gets a chance to drive the new 9 speed with the 4.0t wow, imo its better then the 7 speed I had in my c63s which has some issues. Looking forward in testing 0-60 and 1/4 miles as well as tuning and exhaust down the road. I recently had a rs3 which I felt was a little to small, my wife wanted the suv but I really liked the coupe look better. Needed an ac unit and it fit no problem lol. Thanks for checking her out.
That a s s!

Looks fantastic, congratulations!
What are your thoughts on the ride height, seating position and drive versus the C63S and the everyday ownership experience in comparison? Is it a big adjustment and does it feel heavier/top heavy comparatively or anything like that?

Thanks guys, can't wait to brake her in and do some testing. Recently had a GLE 63s which did 12.6 at 114 in the 1/4 mile stock and that beast was heavy as sin. This should be faster, wondeirng how quick we can make it, need to compete again my modded RS7 lol. Looking forward in seeing more guys get these.

Check with the big tuners to see what you can get done. I know most of the tunes for the C63S along with the downpipes and other stuff can be done. I am wondering if the transmission needs to be dropped in the GLC63s like the C63S in order to install downpipes. In any case, that truck looks mean in black.

On the hunt for lowering links lol. just can't help myself, love the lowered look. BTW also noticed the tire pressure was 54 on all four tires, lowered them down to 42/41 and it surely made a difference in ride confirm. Hell its a solid ride as it comes but anywhere you can soften her up I'm going to do it. Just food for thought for those that test drive or purchase one to check your tire pressure, they surely are not meant to have this much pressure in them

Looove this...I haven't seen them to build on the website yet..Why is that?
And how does it compare to the C63s driving? Does it have more body roll? I'm curious about how the Active Stabilization/Magic Ride Control works?

I just got back my black GLC63S from my detailer. Full front Xpel Stealth PPF and CQuartz Professional ceramic coating on entire car, including wheels.

PPF and ceramic coating are quite expensive, so be prepared. I would say this, PPF should be between $1,500 and $2,000 for the front clip. As for ceramic coating, you first need paint correction. This varies by detailer and really turns on how much correction is needed. They gave me an estimate between $350 and $750 for a new car, and it came in within that range. Again, this is a bit subjective and others might have views on the level of paint correction needed, so I would suggest you go with a detailer that you trust. For the coating itself, CQuartz Pro should be between $1,500 and $2,000, which mine was (again, this varies by detailer). Modesta is a jump up in price, and while I was leaning that way, I decided that CQuartz was best for my goals and is a proven product. As you will read online, it is all about the detailer and their reputation. Both Xpel PPF and ceramic coating are only as good as the effort put in my your detailer. I am sure there are cheaper options, or detailers offering the same for less, but I went with someone that has good word of mouth and I came to trust throughout the process. Good luck, I hope that helps.

No, you've got it backwards. Paint correction will be between $350 - $750 for a new car, not much higher than that range. Ceramic coating should be between $1,500 - $2,500, depending on brand you go with. Again, detailers will vary on pricing but I would do research before trusting a detailer to do the job right. Its all about the effort and time.

Though its higher in height its not that bad regarding body roll. Having the S coupe I believe it comes with electronic diff which is nice. Still need to get over 1000 miles to test out this launch control

Boy am I tired, just washed and waxed the GLC and my other car. Looking at it made me come in and order lowering links off of Ebay lol. Went with airomatic which where the same as the ones I put on my RS7. Looking forward in seeing this beast a little lower then stock.
Edit, ordered side window tint too lol

why 42psi? that is still pretty high. I run my performance vehicles at 30-33.

good point. most times they are set to trigger at around 28 but must inflate 32-33 to turn light off.
I have the levels lowered to 26 on my SRT jeep.
