Advisor called, said the technician and floor sup didnt like the way some of the spark plugs looked and they are going to over night a new set. I'll keep everyone updated if that ends up solving the problem or not.
This is a 2018 GLC63 SUV (Non S) Still no word from dealer but hopefully they will have an update by end of the day. They did give me a GLE loaner which is quite an upgrade from the Smart Car I was given last time for my S class. :/
So, to clarify, my advisor originally said it was 2 cylinders misfiring, came to be that it was 1 but multiple times. He also said they were swapping out all of the spark plugs, but only ended up doing cylinder 1. We'll see if it ever pops up again. I looked over at the C63 forum and seems like a lot of lemons over there dealing with this issue.
My previous c63s have same misfire check engine light when new. But after dealer clear the code it never came back. And the car drive well. Btw I had it for over 60000km.

This happens when the values for oil/trans temp are not up to operating temp. the main cause is getting into the throttle to hard, get a re set and you should be fine. Done this one before.

I was getting CEL after hard pulls on occasion which usually goes away after about 4-5 ignition cycles. Turned out that the small little coolant reservoir was a little low on coolant and triggered a CEL when I was driving it hard. Filled it up and haven't had any issues ever since. I usually top off that reservoir every month or so depending on how much I drive.

What’s crazy is all the sensors are razor sharp. Just had a rear diff issue. I was like two drops shy on diff fluid. This shut down my S Coupe. I had to shut it off and re start. The problem went away. Went to see my AMG tech the reason was seriously like two drops low. All the new technology. This AMG keeps a good eye on its self.

Was this after a hard pull? There's a small brake reservoir in the front center of the air intake that get's a little bit low from time to time. On hard acceleration, you may get an CEL. It will go away after 3-4 restarts. You just need to fill it up to prevent that from happening if that's the cause of your CEL.
Hi All - I just brought my new GLC 43 into the dealership...was driving on highway and check engine light came on and car would not go above 2000-2500 RPM...I was simply just driving along...car has 1840 miles on it...hopefully they can figure this one out. Before you say anything, YES I followed proper break-in steps...I have only taken it above 4500 to about 5000 rpm twice and both of those times were AFTER 1500 miles...any thoughts?
