Well... I added front splash guards to aid with stone blemishes
Well after some hesitation ... I added the factory Mercedes front splash guards to aid with stone chip blemishes to the wheel well black plastic surroundings and running boards.
Keep in mind I have just 500 miles on the vehicle thus far and only drive on paved roads.
I must say the fit and finish of the splash guards are impressive and they blend well with the running boards without looking like an eyesore.
No drilling is required, for they attached in 3 points to the factory push clips inside the wheel well, pre-adhered double sided tape, a single upper clip and one screw self tapping screw attached to the underside of the running board.
I only installed the front splash guards for the rear bumper plastics don’t appear to be showing premature wear.
Note: The MB parts department stated the part number wasn’t applicable for the amg version of the glc but they work and fit as hoped.
I hope this information and the photos are helpful to other fellow owners.

I'm having the same problem! Did you have that PPF installed by rocker panel professionally? I was thinking doing the same thing to prevent any rock chip flying and hitting the paint.

I also added xpel.com clear bra to the lower half of the doors and behind the rear tires. In fact I covered the hood (bikini cut), front fenders, entire front bumper, headlights, mirrors, door cups, a & b pillars, roof top leading edge and rear bumper load zone. I prefer to keep my cars extra nice.
