Heres my new 2018 GLC43 Coupe. Picking it up tomorrow! Compliments my summer vehicle, C63 S AMG.

 

Well it's been a long hard slog, just over 6 months, but it's finally here.

 

Looks good, love the color. Why so long to get it??

 

Ordered on April 22 but production on MY18 didn't start until June. It looks like an already sold car does not get any kind of priority from Mercedes since it wasn't built until July. Shipped on Aug 19 and sat for over 6 weeks at the VPC for some fix that Mercedes will not identify.

 

Ah makes sense. I wonder what the deal was with all the cars that were stuck in port? I saw some 18 C63's too, I imagine there were others also.

Anyone have pictures of designo Dakota Brown Magno? I'm having a hard time finding good close up pictures of this color!

 

Excuse my horrid photography skills but I just my car two weeks ago. A mix and match of pics of the first day and one of them has a picture of it post-tint. The owner of the Von House group in Sacramento area is a good family friend and through him and his VP they were able to source a 2018MY for me via Gilbert, Arizona. Wasn't too picky about options but I was a little disappointed the rear seats didn't have heaters but given the scarcity I am just happy I was able to find the interior and exterior colors i wanted!

 

Nice and congrats, Fight. Kicking myself for not getting the Night Package, but will fix that if the Chrome really bothers me. Enjoy!

It's torture that I have to wait until next Thursday to pick it up. They have to prepare it and put on its winter tires.

Sad thing is it won't be that clean until next April when winter is over her lol.

 

what aftermarket rims are those? Selenite Grey looks sharp.

 

I also bought my GLC43 from Von Housen in Sacramento (from James Reemts in Rocklin).

i can’t recommend Von Housen highly enough for customer service and price. Love my GLC43. They still seem to be rarities on Northern California roads.

 

They are Braelin BR06 rims fitted with studded Nokian Hakkapeliitta 9 SUV tires.

I'm used to studded tires and they are pretty handy with the harsh winter we usually have in northern province of Quebec.
