Interesting...I see on yours and one or 2 others with the dark ash that it's only on the center console. On mine and most others I've seen it's on the door inserts as well.
What is the 2nd button for with the heated seats on the door? Can you control both drivers and passenger seat from each side?

I would guess that the 2nd button is for seat ventilation?
For 2017, the black ash was on center console and side trim. For 2018 the black ash center console is only available with aluminum side trim (at least on GLC43).

Ah I wondered about both after posting. Not sure if ventilation was available in Canada on 17's, I didn't pre order I bought off the lot but I didn't see any with that option.

Yeah, not sure if the ventilation option is available in Canada or not. Not sure why they changed the door panels in 2018, either, but I actually like the metal better as it adds contrast to the otherwise dark/black interior.
Looks Awesome in black. What make are your 21” tires ? I have Dunlaps on mine I think they look good but if this was a daily driver would need to get some kind of winter tires.
So this is the car that I purchased here in India . My first brand new Mb taking delivery next week. I need help a bit . Since in India the road conditions aren’t perfect always I was wondering should I upgrade my wheels to 21 ? Secondly which is the best aftermarket exhaust I should choose & thirdly has anyone fitted an aftermarket speaker on their amg yet ?
The reason why I am asking these questions is because in India you barely get to order your car and even if you do it’s 1 year wait so mostly we buy what’s available so I couldn’t order Burmester or amg exhaust as an option so I am stuck with what I have . The stock MB speakers sucks ***** . It sounds flat !!

If you have 20" wheels and go to 21" wheels, the sidewall heights are less on the 21" tires meaning the chance of a flat tire are probably are higher than the 20" tire.
New tires after getting 17k miles out of the OEM Continentals. Pirelli All Season Scorpions 10mm wider in the front & back. Gives it a meatier look & the crabbing issue is gone.

i don’t mind telling you but my answer would shock you. We pay around 150% duty in india on CBU vehicles. All the amg’s Are CBU. So coming to how much it costed me just a basic car. It costed me around 90,00,000 rupees including insurance & Delhi registration which is 138,578USD. Yes it’s that costly for us to buy cars here in India.
i have 19 inches installed currently on this.
My main problem is still with the blismal MB stereo system. Did anyone upgrade it and could you tell me how to go about it ?
Thanks for the answer. The reason I asked was I lived in Shanghai for a couple of years and our dealership for Mercedes was next to us. I saw an ML350 and it's list price converted to dollars was $158,000, almost three times what it retailed for over here. That's a lot of duties and taxes.
I don't have any issues with my stereo other than the Android app. I deleted it from my phone and disabled it in my SUV. The neat thing is the Windows phones are voice activated for the texts so you don't have to read them. The feature dosn't work with Android or Apple.
