I recently went to my local MB dealer here in Indy and asked how much they would discount a GLC 43 AMG and they replied 2%. This would be on a order because they had nothing in stock. Does this sound normal?

This seems to be the standard response for most dealers. Mercedes Benz of Orland Park is willing to do 3% and fleet discount if you're interested.

Fleet Discounts are through various companies. I am getting mine through USAA insurance.
A fixed discount is applied which varies by model. Lately the GLC discount is 500 bucks.
Various employers, insurance companies and professional associations enable you to access these discounts

2018 GLC43 (On Order)

I got a 6% discount on a MY18 order for a 43 with a couple hundred bucks of accessories thrown in. I was offered 10% on a MY17 that was on the lot. Went with the 2018. The average I seem to see on here ranges around 6-10% with some apparently getting the "this car is high in demand so we won't give a discount". I can only share my experience though.
