Xenon question
I was told by the dealer that the GLC43 comes standard with halogen with LED or active LED the only upgrade option. There are no xenon option.
I can't seem to find anything definitive online and MB website is not clear on this item.
Can someone please confirm.

Your dealer is correct. MB has been phasing out Xenon HIDs. Your options are: crappy halogens (base model), static LEDs, and adaptive LEDs.
I have the adaptive LEDs on both my cars and they are amazing. I highly recommend them. If you can't get them, then spring for the static LEDs at a bare minimum.

I can't live with halogen so I will defnitely go for LED.
I just wanted to make sure I wasn't duped into picking that option if the standard is already xenon.

A bit off topic, but do you know what is the status of the Takata faulty airbag on newer Mercedes car. Do the GLC line come with them? I read the 2017 E-Class was still being made with faulty bags.
