Front Air Suspension Air Bag Recall
Hi there my dealer says there is a recall for the front air suspension air bags on my 2017 GLC 43. Can anybody confirm this recall as I can't find anything online regarding this. Thanks

Front air bag, yes. Air suspension? I haven't seen that one. The airbag is just a steering column thing. I will look though new bulletins tomorrow when I get back to work and see if there's anything listed though.

There is a campaign out at the moment for some GLC43's. Apparently not all 43's are affected, but some ( including mine ) may need to have the front air struts changed if they fail the test.

Hi Spencer, the campaign number I received was AC7206b.. Not sure if its the same... Apparently there is a metal ring that can get dislodged within the strut and cause the air to leak out. That's what i was told.

That doesn't seem like a long enough campaign number. Tried using it with an open ended search, no results.
