Because my wife’s Tesla is proving big enough for our newborn’s stuff, I’m convincing the wife to entertain a 991 GT3 (fingers crossed). I also put a deposit down today for a Taycan.

Got a build date of December 1st for my Selenite Gray GLC 43. I suppose that is good...!?

Perhaps so. I know only what my dealer's sales manager told me. After reading this thread, I'm prepared for a slow delivery.

I’ve even been told the cars are certified and ready.

However spoke to a SA who contacted head office and was told 43s will only be released for sale in November. So even though the car has left halifax and is on its way down you may not get it soon. Just thought I’d let you know so you don’t get your hopes up like I Did just to find this out..
When did you order your coupe? I've a friend that ordered one about a month ago but was told Jan/Feb for delivery. (Canada also)

Thank you. Yeah it’s been a long wait for sure.

Worst is that the car was built in June and was in Halifax at VPC since July 10th. Only last week did it arrive to Concord, Ontario and is now being held there until they decide to release the cars. Dealer is located in Brampton,

I have given up on the glc63 and placed an order for a bmw x5 50i. Build date first week December. Never owned a mercedes but it just seems to flaky .If i am going to drop 100k on a car i dont need to see guys waiting close to a year and still have no idea really when there going to get there car.
At least with bmw i got a build date and can follow the progress. Who knows,i may have the bmw before you guys see the amg63.

It is pretty frustrating that the cars are here and they won't release them. I've owned mostly BMW and Audi, never had a Mercedes yet. They should at least tell us what the actual plan is, I arranged financing for a portion of my purchase and now my 30 day rate lock will expire. I just assumed that it was at US port and would make its way to me within 30 days. Has always been the case with the BMW's I've ordered. Not a great start to my customer experience, along with not getting my HUD because they can't manage their supply for that option.

I understand how frustrating it is to wait for a car stuck in VPC. Mine has been stuck since August. I have come to deal with it and not think about it any longer. The reason is because I am looking at the other side of the table. I know it is part of the business that my SA is in, but I am a bit compassionate for my guy because I am sure he has 50 of me in the same situation and my SA doesn't receive his comp until each car is delivered. As inconvenient it is for me to deal with one vehicle and have to drive my family around as a chauffeur, the lack of a vehicle is not hurting me financially.

MBUSA really is screwing their dealers and the SAs by not expediting this process.

It's sitting in a cage, begging to be driven, but they can't deliver it to me until end of October at best (according to MB Canada).
