I saw that r1concepts thanked you for your above post so they must be active here. r1concepts, if you are reading this then why are the OE brakes cheaper than the ceramics on your site? Usually the ceramics cost more than regular pads. It's not an issue as I think that's great pricing, I just want to know which is truly better.
I really want very minimal brake dust as I am getting pretty annoyed with the dirt on my wheels. Power washed and waxed my truck the other day and no more than half a day of driving my wheels are brown again.
I saw a big difference on brake dust being minimal. As in I hardly notice them after a few weeks of no washing.

When I apply with the oem brakes I use to feel soft spots like its not a consistent pressure. With these it feels consistent and my confidence with them has increased.

huh thats interesting to hear... I may pass this along to customers.. thank you!
I am having mixed results with dust free brake pads on my GLC63. After 200 miles the front is doing great but the rear not so much. See pictures below.
I've had my Optimum OE's now for 3 months now replacing both fronts and rears at the same time and to me these brakes are 3x better than originals as far as brake consistency goes. Dust is almost non-existent. I've not tried the ceramics and I'm sure they work well too. I wouldn't mind anyone trying them and letting us know how they are.
Hi izzy! Do you have an update on pedal feel, dust, stopping power? I cant take the brake dirt anymore, its killing me and I am wasting my microfiber clothes trying to clean the brake dirt off. I am ready to make a purchase and the R1 price is unbeatable. -- Thanks!

I still have nothing negative to say. The car’s pedal feel continues to feel solid. Stops as expected with no brake noise. And the best part is I have not wash my car for 3 weeks now due to the rain being on and off here in socal and my wheels shine still comes through. It does not look brown muddy like before.

Thanks Bro, you the done sealed the deal for me! I will be ordering tomorrow.
Any update for people with the 63 instead of the 43? R1 does not have rear pads in either the OEp or ceramic and really want to swap to something low dust ASAP.

~ check with www.brakeworld.com they seem to have the best selection for the difficult to find applications.
Make sure you understand Brakeworld's warranty before you purchase brakes from them. I bought ceramics from then and the one's I received performed poorly as you can see in this thread, and started squeaking loudly whenever I stepped on the brakes.
They would not do anything to remedy the situation.
~ I lubricants the piston contact points and the end tabs only. Enjoy!
Finally got mine too !
I didn't open the boxes yet but did you have to change the brake pad sensor ?
I am going to do the front first since no tools to push the piston back are needed .
I need to understand how the rear needs to be done before taking everything off .
Any good video recommended ?
Thanks
