Just received my Chinese made imitation carbon fiber door handle covers that I bought through Ebay for a little over 11 bucks. I must say, they look fantastic on the car. Here's the link if anyone is interested. Seems like there are a bunch of different sellers selling the same thing. Some had lower prices but had later delivery times so I went with the one that I did.
does it just stick over the OEM chrome handles? do you then lose the touch unlock feature?
Yup, it just sticks on the chrome part. The lower part of the door handle is not covered at all so the touch lock/unlock functionality is unaffected. Pictures below are from the ebay ad. There is actually another set that's available that is made out of real carbon fiber but it covers the entire door handle. The main purpose for getting these half handle covers was to "black" out my door handles. The OEM lower part is already gloss black so I did not want to cover it further with carbon fiber.

Bumping this thread with a question - do you have any concern over these things coming off the handles after excessive use? I figure wrapping them with CF vinyl would be more stable long-term as opposed to sticking these on, but your pics make them look so much nicer with the polished CF look.
Thanks for the bump, but judging from your pic, they don't even completely cover the chrome on the inside. Is this true? I'm realizing I never even noticed this in the OP.
