MBWorld Fanatic!
Personnally I dont like so-called Coupe SUV's. Don't like the GLE Coupe, BMW X4, X6 either. They charging more money for less headroom and less space. Coupes styles usually dont offer pano roof either. Rear head-room is too low on 4 door coupes.

I can understand that. Yeah the lack of the pano roof really blows me. Especially since some "coupe" sedans have pano

They might get me. Especially since it's about time for a new vehicle and since I got a car seat to worry about now most sedans are out. Lol

I'm only here for the GLC63s coupe. Love the styling of the coupe. Could care less about head room, no one to worry about but me. But no pano kinda sucks. Going to the car show this Saturday to check it out in person. See if it's enough to make me get rid of my current car.

The coupes seem to be an attempt to create a market niche in the absence of any real consumer demand. They are vehicles which have the handling drawbacks of SUVs combined with the more limited cargo carrying capacity and rear seat headroom of fastback styled sedans, so the worst of both worlds. From my perspective, if I want handling prowess above all else, I'd buy a sedan or true coupe. if I wanted cargo carrying capacity, I'd buy a SUV. If I wanted sportiness with carrying capacity, I'd by a AMG or M-type SUV, but coupe-styled SUVs only give you the compromised sportiness of a SUV with the compromised carrying capacity of a sedan or true coupe.

For instance I wanted a CLS 53, because it was a stylish and performance base and thought it would fit my family. But when we went to test it and put the car seat in wifey wouldn't be able to ride in front. And we thinking of having a second.
So they suggested the SUVs for more room (which I never dreamed of owning) so I don't want it for cargo room just so I can fit the kids.
And when I drove the AMG GLCs they outperformed the cls AMG (2019s)

Man, I may have to dump the 43 now and do some trading to save up for the new 63. I love the present 63 version and somewhat agree about the aggressiveness, but am also a sucker for technology and COMAND is just blah for a vehicle in this price range. I picked up a leftover GTI last weekend as a third car and it’s tech system with ACP/AA is pretty awesome. I want that in my ~$70k-ish MB. I’d also like the S version SUV, but can always do Renntech if it doesn’t come. That white 63 in the link is calling my name...damn.
