How much does it cost for 40k mile service for glc300?
How much does it cost for 40k mile B1 service for glc300?
I was quoted for service, brake fluid etc for 1160$? Seems way out of line...is it normal?

I was just told the 40k service was $1000 at the dealership. I don't remember exactly what it was, but there is one component that needs replacement or servicing that's expensive. Maybe timing belt.

It’s a 4 cyl car for that price they better be replacing the tires and the floor mats !!!!

If I'm not mistaken, the 40k service includes the transmission flush, thats why its so pricey.

At least for 2021 GLC43 the transmission flush is not part of the 40k Service B at 40k is basically:
  • Engine oil + filter
  • Cabin air filter
  • Brake fluid flush
  • Inspections (brakes, suspension, leaks, tires, etc.)
No transmission fluid change, no flush. Some dealers may say 50–60k, but 60k is the widely accepted target
