2020 GLC43 Order Is In
Finalized an order for my dealer’s only 2020 GLC43 slot. Build is slotted for 2D October.
Heads up for anyone looking to order - the AMG Drive Unit (option code U88) is not currently available for this model, and would have delayed the build to December or January. Perhaps this is due to a parts constraint.

Heated steering wheel is apparently not available for the 2020 C class 43/63 models. I would have optioned it if available with the AMG steering wheel as is available in the 2020 E53/E63.

2003 Cobra / 2018 GLC300 / 2020 GLC63 SUV
Congrats! I'm still waiting for an allocation on mine, I wonder if that has to do with the U88 option I selected. Did you get details about if it was only the GLC43 that this was holding up production on or if it was the GLC63 models as well? I have a build request in for a GLC63 SUV.

I believe it’s the GLC63 as well, but I didn’t attempt a configuration of the GLC63.

Waiting for allocation
My order gets submitted tomorrow.
I am ordering Coupe, so I am told drive unit is available - but that could be because Coupe will only deliver in January. My build won’t actually start for another 2 months.
Heated steering wheel is available here in Canada, but you lose the nice wheel and no drive unit as discussed above.
Roads are crappy here, so I actually wish I could order 20” rims... but the 21’s come in the AMG Drivers Package. Can’t give up the PE. Lol.
I currently drive a C43. Too tight with two growing kids. Lots more room in the GLC - must be because of the height. As mentioned above the crappy roads have me wanting more sidewall, and the GLC helps with that. I have had 4 flats... I also hope I get Conti’s. PZero’s suck.

I am in Canada and we definitely need winter tires. I am getting out of a C43 because of ground clearance issues in the winter. (And growing space needs for kids and rough ride)
