Prepaid maintenance worth it?
Prepaid maintenance is like $1200 or something for A & B service. Do you know how much I paid for service A (10k miles)? about $250 lol
So unless I am missing something - prepaid maintenance is just a way for them to make extra money. People don't know any better..

Also as for others asking about the 2k diff oil change - it is not required on 2020 GLC 63. The sticker only showed the break in period, which I also confirmed with service tech. My 2019 E63s did require the diff oil change though.
Lastly, some of you are saying your dealership is charging you an extra $500 on top of tire rack? You need to find a new dealership ASAP. I have had no problems getting things at cost at the dealership. My dealer is an AMG performance center, but it's not one of *huge* dealerships either.

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
I use a Hengst oil filter for the oil changes. Until I dumped the oil one day during my 5000 mile service change. When I pulled the oil filter, it was the Hengst. The dealer was supposed to have changed the filter during the last service. I contacted the service manager and asked if they used aftermarket filters. He advised absolutely not. MB OEM only. I advised him that I change the oil in between each 10k interval and I use Hengst filters which was still in the vehicle. He didn't know what to say. He offered me a complimentary oil change which I declined. I do not have service performed at the dealer any longer. The problem is there is no way to check the dealer's work. The oil system is sealed and no way to check the condition of the oil until the next oil change.
I own a new GLE 53 now and will not trust the dealer to do anything but warranty work after that bs.
Luckily we have a locally owned European car shop close by that does excellent work. They have been in business for decades and their reputation is A+ in the community. They perform MB A,B,C services and are recognized and approved by MB for their service work (other than warranty work of course) and they use genuine MB parts.
I'm done with having maintenance work performed at a dealership.
Is it worth it and will it be cheaper than doing individual services??
Or better off with an Indy shop?
This is would be the my first Mercedes so not too familiar with the service structure and related prices.
Just because the dealer says it doesn’t make it so.
The very notion that Mercedes Benz has any interest in saving anyone money on regularly scheduled maintenance costs is completely absurd.
Prepaid maintenance is an easy sale because it seems like the responsible and smart thing to do. But let’s be clear- so long as the car is under warranty, MB has no reason, no incentive whatsoever to offer maintenance at a reduced cost.

Facts : i paid 350 per year when prepaid and now it is 800 per revision.
When my salesman gave me the price for prepaid he said : "well obviously this is the monthly fee for a 4 pot 2.0l engine, not an AMG so i would be you .. i ll take it" and indeed we compared with other engine versions (non amg) and 29€ per month for my 43 was really a big bargain.
But i was once in germany at an AMG dealer .. the price per hour is like 60% more expensive when you have an AMG badge on your car, those are official prices in DE.
